Nineteen of Daniil Medvedev's 21 championships have been achieved on hard surfaces
A comeback Medvedev claimed his initial title for over two years with a win over opponent Moutet in the tournament title decider.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has endured a difficult year, managing just a single victory at the big events and undergoing a difficult moment at the US Open.
The player's varied form on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serve in particular - led to him falling of the world's top 10 and finally parting ways with long-time trainer his previous coach.
Now collaborating with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently improved in the past month - peaking in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's maiden title since the Rome competition and maiden on a hardcourt after that period of that year.
Success also means Medvedev has achieved 21 victories at twenty-one different events.
"For the first time I am participating in a competition with my both daughters simultaneously, so to get a trophy is especially meaningful," stated world number 14 Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my child Victoria, because the maiden victory I achieved when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The athlete, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his last six title deciders, featuring in Halle previously this season.
The player's counter-punching approach and recurring outbursts on the tennis court had led observers to wonder if his skill to perform at the top level was finished.
But the athlete has made changes in the past month, striving to advance forward and perform positively, supported by an enhanced service.
The champion fought back from a break down in the first set against the challenging Moutet, securing four of the last five games to gain the advantage.
The competitors traded breaks in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his initial ATP Tour victory, gained dominance to push for a decider.
He rescued 4 early break points in a competitive final set before the champion secured a break to 15 to close out the victory.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned victory with a shot at the front of the court, with his opponent incapable to control a volley after a lengthy match.
